Out of Time Media Group is the parent company for three YouTube brands that focus on history, true crime and mysteries and historical and simulation gaming. Audiobooks and short stories will feature across all brands where relevant.

HISTORY CLASS

History Class was first created in 2014 and featured videos across the southeast of England, as well as, voiceover videos about all sorts of historical subjects. The channel featured a few different video types such as ‘Field Trip’, where the channel would film on locations such as castles, historical locations and public events. Voiceover videos covered topics such as the First World War and Second World War.

In 2022, the channel was relaunched from scratch and features a similar style to the original channel, dubbed History Class 1.0, which saw the return of the ‘Field Trip’ feature at locations such as Pevensey Castle, Battle Abbey and a cinematic version at Dover Castle. The channel will go further than History Class 1.0 and cover far more subjects than the original ever did.

The newest addition to the History Class brand is short stories and audiobooks. These are already in production and they are all linked together as a small collective of stories that builds up to a longer audiobook. The stories and audiobooks are original stories that are based on fact, inspired by true events and accounts or purely fiction. Each story will have the best amount of historical accuracy for the period featured.

DARK PAST

Dark Past is a yet-to-be-used channel that will cover the darker side of history such as true crime and mysteries. There are already videos written for the channel with production coming in 2024.

ASHE GAMING

Ashe Gaming is as the name suggests a gaming channel that has featured simulator games like Train Sim World, Euro Truck and Assassin’s Creed. The channel has been unused for around a year, but it will return very soon.

PATREON

This platform will be used to feature content about history that will not be suitable for YouTube. This includes crossover videos between History Class and Dark Past as naturally they will intertwine. Content for this platform will come once Dark Past has been launched.
